Although this tutorial is covering most of the topics covered by IBM training for TSM, it should not be a replacement for the official IBM training “IBM Tivoli Storage Manager 5.5 Implementation & Administration” which we highly recommend and more information about it can be found at http://www.ibm.com/software/tivoli/education/ . Although this can be an escape for administrators or implementers who do not have the budget or the time to enroll in the official course. Our team has done everything possible to make this tutorial as accurate & beneficial as possible, but that does not mean its 100% error free. Prerequisite:

Although this course is covering IBM Tivoli Storage Manager from scratch, the reader should have a basic understanding of the following before trying to read this tutorial. If you have any problem with any of the below pre-requisite we advice you to try to adopt to it before continuing with this tutorial.

1-     Sufficient Knowledge of operating system & how to navigate thru it.

2-     Sufficient understanding of Server-client concepts.

3-     Sufficient knowledge of web-browser like IE or Firefox.
